Have you spotted the new BBC idents yet? FilmFixer’s London borough of Southwark features in a number of the set-ups. Look out for the scenes with the outdoor market, and the section where the cyclist at the market enters the archways.
Shot with Scout Productions in July 2021 and directed by Man vs Machine, the iconic ‘O’ motif returns with a collection of 24 new idents which have been created to support content across the channel.
Scoresby Street market in SE1 featured, with the road closed for the day to allow the market stalls to be dressed either side of the street, and the use of a specialist Triton motion control rig that allows for 360 degree filming. LSE Bankside House was used as the Unit Base for the shoot.
